Club Membership

Remember to sign up for a club membership before registering for any programs. Inter-county tryouts, Swing into Action and Summer Junior Camps are the only events that do not require club membership to participate in. Click the Membership above in the header or below Events to sign up ! 

 

 

About us....

The Nobleton Tennis Club is a friendly, vibrant not for profit club geared to engage players of every level. The club has a newly built clubhouse and access to four outdoor lit courts, two public and two privately operated by the club.  Open daily from May to mid October. 

NTC offers junior and adult lessons, clinics, cardio tennis, socials, weekly round robins, tournaments and several competitive leagues of various levels. The club is a member of the Ontario Tennis Association and Inter-county tennis association. Our club is conveniently located in the Nobleton Community Sports Park, located at 15 Old King Road.

Coming this Spring 

April 27,  Labour of Love - Nets & windscreens set up and general court clean up. Pizza & drinks afterwards. 10:00am-12:00pm. Volunteers can sign up under "Adult programs"  ( rain date April 28th)   

Old Racquet Donations - Anyone willing to donate old junior or adult racquets can do so April 27th during court set up. 

May 10,  Swing into Action - Free, no membership required for this event. Thinking about playing tennis and want to try it out first?  Sign up for Swing into Action, bring a friend and have an intoductory tennis lesson by a certified instructor,  snacks & drinks follow the lesson. 16 yrs and over  7:00- 9:00pm. Contact Ann to sign up at nobletontc2@gmail.com  

May 14 &15, Junior Group Lessons Begin- For kids 5-13, learn the fundamentals of tennis using Progressive Tennis, low compression balls on modified courts. Children have greater success, build confidence and coordination. Red Ball (5-7yrs) Orange/Green (8-13 yrs) 1hr lesson weekly for 6 weeks. Cost $130.00  Sign up under "Junior Programs" 

May 14 & 15, Adult Group Lessons Begin -  For adults new to tennis or returning to tennis after a long hiatus. Learn the fundamentals of tennis; ground strokes, volley, serve, court positioning and tennis etiquette. 1hr lesson weekly for 6 weeks. Cost $130.00 Sign up under "Adult Programs "

May 17 , Cardio Tennis - Cardio Craze Friday's tennis workout begins. Great way to get your heart pumping and increase your tennis endurance. Cardio tennis is also available alternating Wednesdays. Fridays 9:00-10:00am, Wednesdays 8:00-9:00pm. Weekly sign up for both under "Adult Programs"

May 21, Men's Advanced Round Robin -   Players wanting to participate in the afternoon round robin must be 4.0 and above. If you are unsure of your skill ranking please be assessed before signing up. Tuesdays 1:00-3:00pm, Sign up under "Adult Programs"

May 24, Skill Assessment - Members, get a free assessment by one of  our coaches to learn your skill ranking and what programs are right for you to sign up for.  7:00-9:00pm Sign up for an assessment under  "Adult programs" 

May 25, Kids Club - Juniors come out and meet the coaches and other junior members. Games and snacks, 10:00am-11:30am, Sign up under "Junior Programs"

May 25, Doubles Trouble & Drama - Spring fun social tournament. Participants in the tournament must be able to serve consistently and maintain a rally and stay the entire time, 12:00pm-3:00pm. Sign up under "Adult Programs".                                                                          Members who prefer not to play in the tournament are encouraged to come out and heckle players. Come by, say hello and have a bite to eat. Please contact Ann at nobletontc2@gmail.com to let us know you'll be joining us. 

May 27, Mixed Round Robin -   First weekly mixed round robin is a fun and lively night. 7:00-9:00pm, Weekly sign up under "Adult Programs"

May 29, Tennis Clinic, -  First clinic of the season. Great way for players who are beyond beginner to work on developing their skill and game strategies. Clinics are alternating Wednesday 8:00-9:00pm. Sign up under "Adult Programs" 

May 31, Advanced Mixed Round Robin-  First weekly advanced round robin.   Assessment required to participate. Get evaluated on May 24th or speak to one of our coaches.

Membership Fees 2024 

Happy to announce that the club membership fees will remain the same this year keeping tennis affordable and accessible.  No court fees. 

Junior - $60.00

Student/ Seniors- $80.00

Adult -$120.00

Family - $275.00 (2 children, 2 adults)
